Terms & Conditions

Introduction

  1. Blog Writing Services UK will provide content marketing services in a subscription format as described on our website. All fees must be paid in full prior to the generation of content.
  2. From here on ‘you’/‘the client’/'customer'/'customers' refers to the customer and ‘the company’/’company’/’us’/’we’/’our’ refers to Blog Writing Services UK.
  3. It is strongly recommended to read this document in full and to keep a copy for your own records. 
  4. By placing an order with Blog Writing Services UK (a company registered in England and Wales) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We do not accept any variation to these terms, nor do we agree to any sent to us with a purchase order. By sending us a purchase order, regardless of any terms stipulated on them, you agree that the order will be bound by the terms and conditions detailed below. 
  5. Words in the singular include the plural and in the plural include the singular.
  6. Each of the paragraphs of these Terms & Conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs remain in full force and effect. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. You and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  7. Condition headings do not affect the interpretation of these conditions.

Blog Writing Services UK Services will include (but are not limited to):

  1. Creating blog posts
  2. Repurposing content
  3. Keyword research
  4. Content marketing plans

Client must acknowledge the following with respect to the services:

  1. All fees are non-refundable.
  2. All fees, services, documents, recommendations and reports are confidential.
  3. Blog Writing Services UK has no control over the policies of search engines with respect to the type of sites and/or content that they accept now or in the future. The Client’s website may be excluded from any blog, website, directory or search engine at any time at the sole discretion of the search engine or directory.
  4. Blog Writing Services UK has no control over website and blog owners removing links and content, or deleting/moving/changing their website.
  5. Under no circumstances shall Blog Writing Services UK be liable to you (the end user) for any damages whatsoever, including (without limitation) any direct incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, or any claims of yours or third party websites. You, the end user assume all risks and potential damages (known or unknown) associated with using Blog Writing Services UK services.
  6. As an outsourced provider of specific SEO services, Blog Writing Services UK does not guarantee search engine positions for any particular keyword, phrase, or search term. Neither does Blog Writing Services UK guarantee any traffic increases.
  7. Linking to “bad neighborhoods” or getting links from “link farms” can seriously damage all SEO efforts. Blog Writing Services UK does not assume liability for the Client’s choice to link to or obtain a link from any particular website without prior consultation.
  8. Blog Writing Services UK makes every effort to ensure that with any written submission the Copy provided to Client is free of errors and omissions – including errors in spelling and content – but cannot warrant this. Blog Writing Services UK would request that the Client or the Client’s agent review the Copy thoroughly before committing the project to production, as the ultimate responsibility for the content rests with the Client.
  9. The client is responsible for informing us of any industry-specific compliance issues that might impact upon the Services or Deliverable.
  10. The Client shall indemnify us against any claim, including liability arising from copyright infringement and libel anywhere in the world, that results in any way from the use of its Social Media, Blog or Copywriting Services and Counsel in the delivery of the Services. The Client agrees to indemnify us against any claim for compensation or damages brought about as a direct or indirect consequence of the work we deliver to the Client, Client customers, or sub contractors, including but not limited to human error by or on behalf of us, problems caused by third party tools and applications, updates, algorithm changes, publishing non-compliant or offensive content, changes to platforms (e.g. Twitter, Google, Facebook or other similar sites making changes to their systems, terms or regulations).
  11. It is the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure that all statements, claims, promises, information on said product or service, and guarantees are upheld in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. We will not accept liability or be liable for any compensation for any loss of revenue or profits or any other detrimental effect to Client’s business or any third party of the Client for works carried out on behalf of Client.
  12. We will not accept any claims for Client or third party for any inability to use any materials supplied by us or any reluctance or refusal of any employee or agent of Client to use materials supplied by us; any claim for loss, compensation or damages arising because the necessary rights, permissions and releases have not been granted; any claim over breach of copyright relating to materials Client has supplied to us and any claim over factual or statistical inaccuracies in materials Client has supplied to us.
  13. We will not accept any claims for Client or third party for any compliance infringements or regulatory issues. The Client accepts full responsibility to moderate content produced by us.   
  14. Please note that under UK law, all printed materials must bear the imprint (name and address) of the publisher, which in the case of Company projects is the Client rather than Blog Writing Services UK.
  15. The Client accepts all responsibility for any copyright issues arising from the publication of content produced by us that summarises, rephrases or otherwise refers to third-party sources at Client request and as part of any deliverable within the Services.
  16. We make every attempt to acknowledge copyright held in your published materials or trademarks, but accept no liability for any failure to do so.
  17. Editing submitted works is not permitted following 3 days of the delivery of the Copy, unless approved by Blog Writing Services UK.
  18. Unlimited revisions are limited to a maximum of 2 major amendment rewrites. Where revisions are required the article must remain within the scope of the original requirements, and the topic cannot be changed.
  19. The Client agrees to resolve all minor amendments they may have to the article.
  20. We offer discounted rates to customers who agree to be locked into a longer contract. By accepting these discounted rates, you agree to pay the monthly fee for the full duration of the agreed-upon subscription period. If you terminate your subscription before the end of your agreed-upon subscription period, you will be required to pay any outstanding balance for the remaining months in your contract.

Non Disclosure

  1. Blog Writing Services UK does not sign individual NDA’s for every agency or client that wishes to use our services however as part of the terms of our service you can be sure that we treat every client with full Non Disclosure respect.
  2. Blog Writing Services UK undertakes not to use the Confidential Information disclosed by the Client for any purpose except the Purpose, without first obtaining the written agreement of the other party.
  3. We guarantee not to disclose any confidential information to any third party [except to your companies employees [and professional advisers] who need to know the same for the purpose.

Restrictions

  1. We may terminate this Agreement if you commit a material breach of your obligations under this Agreement and/or these Terms and (where such breach is remediable) you fail to remedy that breach after being requested by us to do so.  This is not an action that we will take lightly, but we will be entitled to terminate this Agreement if you frustrate us from carrying out the Services or Company is unable to continue to provide the Services.
  2. Upon such termination you will be liable to pay us for any goods and materials supplied and all Services provided by us up to the date of termination.
  3. For blog management services, the client is able to terminate the contract at any point. In order to do this, an email must be sent via email to the relevant account manager indicating a 30-day notice period. The Client will be liable for all payments within this 30 day notice period.
  4. You agree that we will not be liable to you or any other party for any termination of your access to our Services.

Definitions

  1. “​​Major Amendments” means any changes required to the deliverable requested by the Client and delivered by the Company. These are when the article fundamentally does not meet the requirements specified by the customer or is in breach of their onboarding questionnaire. 
  2. “Minor Amendments” means any changes required to the deliverable requested by the Client and delivered by the Company. These are items that do not change the overall article scope such as word preference (a for an, for example), grammatical edits and inserting diagrams. These do not need the involvement of Blog Writing Services UK to resolve.
